Alameda Alliance for Health Safety-Net Sustainability Fund

The Alameda Alliance for Health (Alliance) Board of Governors unanimously approved $16.6 million on Friday, May 8, 2020 as emergency crisis funding to support frontline safety-net providers treating Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) patients, expanding COVID-19 testing sites, and to support other organizations that serve vulnerable residents across Alameda County.

A total of $6.6 million has been awarded by the Alliance, in the months of May and June, to support the frontline safety-net providers in Alameda County who receive a majority of their revenue from serving the underserved and uninsured populations in Alameda County.

On Tuesday, July 28, 2020 the Alliance Board of Governors voted to defer the program until the final budget is complete.
